Is your Hypno Spot or Beam constantly resetting upon power up?
- Double check your channel mode settings to verify if they are all set to the same option.
- It is very possible that the troublesome fixture is set to the other option of the channel mode and this will cause the fixture to constantly reset upon power up.
- You should also try unplugging the DMX cable going to the troubled fixture to see if it will power up normally without DMX plugged in. This is a very good indication if the issue is stemming from DX connection (Programming, other fixtures, etc.) versus the fixture having internal issues.
Is your Hypno Spot or Beam still running when DMX is not present?
- This is a good indication that your fixture's menu settings need to be altered in the LOST menu.
- Navigate to the LOST menu of the fixture and change the setting to "Blac." This will tell the fixture to blackout when there is no DMX signal present. This will also avoid any use of auto or sound programs to take over the fixture once DMX is disconnected.
